ROLEX MIDDLE SEA RACE - 21 October 2009
ELUSIVE II, Arthur Podesta’s new FIRST 45, has won the IRC and ORC 3 classes of the Rolex Middle Sea Race.
As in 2007, the event was beset by violent storms, which were especially severe off Stromboli and Palermo.
After 4 days of thrilling competition, the crew of ELUSIVE II had to battle hard through the early morning blow off the North coast of Malta to snatch victory!

CHINA COAST REGATTA - 16-18 October 2009
The FIRST 50 fleet performed very strongly in the China Coast Regatta organised by the Royal Yacht Club of Hong Kong last weekend.
FIRST 50s finished first and third in the Premier Cruising Class.
